BMO Nesbitt Burns and CIBC World Markets, and Managing Director role at Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon. More recently Pat founded Tormont Group, a US and Canada-based Advisory and Merchant Bank. Since 2012 Tormont Group has provided capital and supported US and Canadian companies on IPOs, M&A, institutional investor development, and successful market penetration strategy. Patrick is the President and CEO of DelphX Capital Markets (DELX-TSXv). Through its proprietary tools and technology, DelphX is advancing its revolutionary fixed-income solution through the global bond market segment

Simon Selkrig

Chief Financial Officer

Simon has a strategic, results-focused & problem-solving mindset with 20 years of commercial experience helping companies like DelphX to grow revenue, improve profits and increase valuation to stakeholders.

His experience covers both corporate, both public/private and multinational/CCPC, entrepreneurial (via Strategize Financial Modelling and its clients) and board experience (ShareLife charity), to build relationships with all stakeholders, and drive better financial reporting and disclosure, corporate governance, internal controls around costs and employee engagement in companies.

Gordon Jardin

Chief Actuary and Risk Officer

Gordon is a Fellow and past board member of the Society of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

He has been Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of reinsurance companies (Generali USA, PartnerRe Life/Winterthur Re), Vice President and General Manager, Reinsurance for Sun Life Canada and, more recently, the Chief Executive Officer of a residential mortgage acquisition and servicing company, Franklin Credit Management Corporation. Gordon’s extensive experience in developing and operating complex analytical systems is key to the development of the DelphX platform.

George Wentworth

Operations Director

George has more than 20 years of experience in driving operational processes to align with company culture and growth strategies. His experience includes handling business operations for multiple companies, including start-ups as well as more established organizations.

George’s non-traditional path to business operations has involved studying farm sciences in Brazil and earning a Fine Arts degree at the University of Massachusetts, as well as working in the food industry, in real estate, commercial and residential construction, management consulting, and technology services. By the time he was 30, George had already worked in, founded, and sold a few startups.

He believes this path proves that some business fundamentals are true for companies of any size or industry. The best recipe for success requires maintaining a strong company culture, streamlining operational systems, and providing excellent communication and customer service. These are the fundamentals; everything else is negotiable.

Salim Hasham

Non-Executive Director

Salim Hasham is currently a Director and Global Head of Business Transformation Partnerships at Google. A key part of his role at Google is to help couple the thinking of the world's best strategy firms with Google's engineering talent to transform visionary concepts into finished products and applications.

Prior to Google, he had nearly 20 years of experience involved in a wide range of financial services projects, including nine years as a Partner at McKinsey & Company and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a leader in strategy, organizational design, operations and risk management, as well as a recognized authority on innovative disruption and accelerated growth. He has particular expertise in driving growth while managing cyber security/financial crime and crisis management. As a recognized industry expert, he is frequently asked to provide perspective to organizations such as the UN, OECD, and industry/regulatory bodies, keynotes to client executives and white papers for governmental agencies. His published commentary can be read on the McKinsey Global Institute, McKinsey on Technology, McKinsey on Risk and other industry/media outlets.

Steven Mannik

Non-Executive Director

Steven is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. Prior to his retirement in 2016, he served as President and CEO of General Re Life Corporation, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway, where he headed the group’s Decision Analytics (Big Data / Predictive Modelling) initiative.

Prior to joining Gen Re, Steven was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Manulife Reinsurance with responsibility for all aspects of Manulife’s reinsurance business worldwide. In 2001, he was key to Manulife’s acquisition of 1.5 million in-force policies from Daihyaku Mutual of Japan and the significant expansion of Manulife’s Japanese operations. Prior to joining Manulife, Steven was a Principal of Towers Perrin responsible for global client relationships and senior pension fund consulting. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, where he earned a Bachelor of Mathematics.
