Larry is dedicated to reducing credit risk and sustaining a robust and informed supply of credit capital. Over his career, he has designed and implemented a variety of facilities that provide transparency, liquidity and lower costs to financial markets. In the 1990s, he developed and operated InterVest, the first regulated market for online trading of corporate bonds and other fixed-income instruments, and the first web-based auction facility for the offering and sale of new credit instruments. Larry has invented a number of financial utilities including the risk-diffusion, auto-execution, midpoint-pricing and other functionality integrated within the DelphX platform. He has also testified before the U.S. Congress regarding the need for greater efficiency in the U.S. fixed-income markets and the adverse impact of those inefficiencies upon the economy. Patrick is a successful capital markets veteran with a career spanning over 25 years. Patrick’s career began as a stockbroker at Canadian owned broker-dealer Midland Walwyn and was followed by Vice President roles at BMO Nesbitt Burns and CIBC World Markets. Moving into a focus on the US-Canada small cap segment, Pat assumed a Managing Director role at boutique firm Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon which precipitated the founding of Tormont Group, a US and Canada based Advisory and Merchant Bank. Over the last several years Tormont Group has provided capital and advised US and Canadian growth companies on IPOs, capital fundings, institutional investor development and successful market penetration strategy. Patrick is currently the President and CEO of DelphX Capital Markets (DELX-TSXv). Through it’s proprietary technology DelphX is advancing its revolutionary fixed income solution through the global bond market segment.
Chief Financial Officer
Steve is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over 25 years of financial-control experience. He was the founding principal of Keshill Consulting Associates Inc., a boutique financial, accounting and management consulting practice. Prior to forming Keshill, Steve served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Borealis Capital Corporation, a leading independent manager of alternative capital assets, and Vice President Accounting and Financial Services at OMERS Realty Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the OMERS pension fund.
Chief Actuary and Risk Officer
Gordon is a Fellow and past board member of the Society of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has been Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of reinsurance companies (Generali USA, PartnerRe Life/Winterthur Re), Vice President and General Manager, Reinsurance for Sun Life Canada and, more recently, the Chief Executive Officer of a residential mortgage acquisition and servicing company, Franklin Credit Management Corporation. Gordon's extensive experience in developing and operating complex analytical systems is key to the development of the DelphX platform.
Keith is an electrical engineer who retired from the role of President and CEO of Com Dev International in 2002, after being with the company for 27 years. He continued as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company until 2009. He is currently the President of Technology Horizons Ltd., a privately held company that invests at an early stage in many successful companies, including Research in Motion, Radarsat International and Orion Network Systems. He is also Chair of the Board for the rare Charitable Research Reserve and is a member of The Board of Governors for Junior Achievement of Waterloo Region.
Steven is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. Prior to his retirement in 2016, he served as President and CEO of General Re Life Corporation, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway, where he headed the group’s Decision Analytics (Big Data / Predictive Modelling) initiative. Prior to joining Gen Re, Steven was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Manulife Reinsurance with responsibility for all aspects of Manulife’s reinsurance business worldwide. In 2001, he was key to Manulife’s acquisition of 1.5 million in-force policies from Daihyaku Mutual of Japan and the significant expansion of Manulife’s Japanese operations. Prior to joining Manulife, Steven was a Principal of Towers Perrin responsible for global client relationships and senior pension fund consulting. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, where he earned a Bachelor of Mathematics.
